Contest» Battle of the Sexes
• Monday, February 8, through Saturday, February 13
• Centers and select mobiles
In a friendly yet serious competition just before Valentine's Day, Stanford Blood Center would like to see which donors, male or female, can donate the most blood between February 8 and 13 at our Centers. We will give every donor a specially designed t-shirt representing the HERS Breast Cancer Foundation (female donors) and the Prostate Cancer Foundation (male donors). We have partnered with these two important organizations to raise awareness for the leading incidences of cancer in each gender. Representatives will be at our Hillview Center on Friday, February 12, to answer questions. Enter a prize drawing for a Zeppelin flight for two – one of only three Zeppelins in the world! Results of the competition will be posted daily on our Web site's home page.
