Your organization's contribution of products or services will be used to enhance the donation experience for our blood donors. Whether it's a coupon for every donor to use at your store, a prize drawing for our donors to win one of your team's autographed jerseys, or food or beverage catering for one of our donor appreciation events, your gift will be put to good use by our marketing and promotions team. At Stanford Blood Center, we are fortunate to have established a solid relationship with athletic store Sports Basement. It is truly a textbook example of how a partnership can work for both parties. Sports Basement donates thousands of gift certificates to us every year. They are a great way for us to give blood donors an added bonus for visiting when we need them most. The certificates can be redeemed for athletic supplies at local Sports Basement stores; these contributions are much-appreciated by the Blood Center and give Sports Basement the opportunity to reach out to potential customers. "It's been well-received by those who donate blood, and we are just glad that we can give them something that adds value to their sense of community involvement," remarked Sports Basement's Marketing Director Robert Chang. "We believe it's important because blood donors are greatly needed. We view our contribution as an important program as anyone of us, our friends, family, or co-workers can be affected by shortages of blood." |
