Four Seasons Club

To thank donors for helping to meet patient needs, we have established the Four Seasons donor club. By donating four times in a 12-month period, you can help eliminate blood shortages.

Membership is simple. Once you donate four times within a twelve month period, you will automatically be rewarded with 400 bonus points. These points can then be used in our online store to "buy" your collectible long-sleeved Four Seasons T-Shirt! Each year, we offer an attractive new design. See how many you can collect!

Precious Mettle Program

Stanford Blood Center boasts over 300 donors who have given one hundred donations or more! Most of these highly dedicated people are both platelet and whole blood donors. When donors reach this important milestone, they receive their Precious Mettle T-shirt, along with a special edition lapel pin and license plate frame.

Each year a special event is held in honor of our Precious Mettle Donors. Guest speakers inform the group about the latest developments in blood research and collection, and often a patient shares his/her very personal story. The annual celebration is a lively and delicious reunion of donor friends and staff. When space has permitted, Golden Donors have been invited to ask their spouse, significant other, or a friend to join them.

Donor Loyalty Program

If you have donated blood with the Stanford Blood Center, you have a great benefit to take advantage of! It’s called the Give blood for life! program, and it’s all about making your experience with us as enjoyable and easy as possible.

Program incentives and service benefits are as follows:
  • Track cholesterol results online
  • Access your donation history
  • Shop in our online store with points you earn through blood donations
  • Request appointments online
  • Receive e-mails from the Blood Center based on your eligibility

All Stanford Blood Center donors are eligible for participation in the Give blood for life! program. Eligible donors will receive/have received introductory letters including username and password. You can change your login once you access your account online. If you have not yet received a letter and would like to check your account online, you may use your donor ID (found on your donor card) and birth date. If you are not sure of your donor ID, call 1-888-723-7831. You will be asked to confirm your identification with your birth date when you call for this information.
