Thanks to the Menlo Park Fire Fighters' Association!
The Menlo Park Fire Fighters’ Association, under the leadership of its President, John Wurdinger, donated a total of 26 units of whole blood during the week of June 8. About 30% of the organization donated blood, a phenomenal outpouring of support for our community. Since we're used to about a 10% participation rate with organization-based blood drives, this is especially impressive.
We deeply appreciate this remarkable show of support for the sick and injured needing blood products in our local hospitals. Many thanks, MPFFA! We were so proud and honored that we took a few photos:
